23/06/2008 Nearly a month has past since we last spoke and this turns my smile into a upside down one but with my fingers typing the keys knowing that you my friends will soon receive this lovely message I know that I will feel happier and we can move on from this dark few weeks we have had. I feel sad i have left in the dark around our relationship and not know whether you were coming or going. The sun is out and things are looking rosey for ISL. With the success of our last collection we now have another collection being printed this very minute. When is its arrival I hear you ask. This question i can answer for you and the answer is soon,very soon,sooner that soon. A clue about the new collection?Think woof,meow,praying and headdresses. You're confused no that's OK...all will be reviled very soon. Think of this time as Christmas eve with your presents under the tree all wrapped up with you guessing to what these presents are...this is the feeling I expect you have now. When you see these new designs you will be excited as receiving that BMX you wanted for ages or that Mr Frosty you had wanted for your birthday but had to wait until Christmas. You will be happy,very happy,happier that happy! We are off on our travels next week to Barcelona for a trade show so we have a busy week this week,lots to do in the world of ISL. Well where to start? Might as well start with the weather. Its been very up and down hasn't it,we have had rain one day and sun the next. I believe it will be a glorious summer !
Laurence has had a holiday since the last time we spoke and i believe it was an enjoyable one Hang on i will ask him Me "laurence did you have a nice holiday?" Laurence "yes" He is a man of few words when it comes to holiday reviews but by the looks of his legs he has had a bloody lovely time. I watered his plants for him,you should see his strawberries now! I went to Thorpe park - hated it...i was sick three times and was awfully scared. Call me a wimp but since i was pushed off the Kempston fun day bouncy castle in 2006 by a group of nine year olds. From that day I have never been fond of heights or bouncy apparatus. We have had two lovely work experience girls in Fran and Fay. Fran aged 14 but seemed around 21 and fay 21 but seemed 14.
Joking aside Fay seemed 15 No joking aside Fay and Fran have been a pleasure to have working with us and have added a great vibe to the shop. Well done to both girls. We have a new stockist in London .Kate and Tristan from The New cross Inn and The Depford arms have opened a spanking new shop in Depford and we are stocking our brand in their lovely shop. With the success of their pubs I'm sure the shop will be another winner. Check it out and why not have a cheeky beer in after all that shopping.

Well you know what's coming out tomorrow...wait for it...yes ...yes that's right ,The brand spanking new collection. It will be in our flagship store at 10am tomorrow morning and will be on sale on this very website at 12.30pm Tuesday...new prints,new styles including oversized women's vest,tees as well as sweats,hoodies and leggings... The weather is mixed...today its gone like this...sunny...warm....hot...dull...warm...rain...sun...sun...rain...rain/sun...sun...warm...showers...rain...sun/rain. You may think to yourself is he a weather man and that would be incorrect but many have said i do look a little like Michael Fish... Today we have theme tunes playing to our customers such as gummi bears,knight rider,fresh prince,the a team,granstand,fun house,big break and many many more...You laugh we laugh. Well if you like the sound of the shop ,the new collection and the music then come along to say yooooo!!!!! The new collection will be in the shop and on-line in a matter of weeks and i can promise you there will be something for everyone. With new t-shirts,sweats, hoodies ,leggings and more cool jewellery you would be a fool not to pop in our shop or check out the collection on this very website. We also have some new skirts and dresses exclusive to our flagship shop down Portobello Road. The dresses are individual customized and will put a smile on your little face. Hope everyone is having fun this week. The weather has been up and down up and down,I'm holding out for a sunny and warm weekend. I would recommend The Rock Against Racism free festival in Victoria park this Sunday if your in London town. With acts such as Hard Fi,Lethal Bizzle and The Good The Bad The Queen its bound to be a good day out for a good cause. If you don't fancy this I would say head down to Portobello Road for a spot of lunch,a browse at the Sunday market and a look in our fantastic flagship shop. Will this happen i wouldn't like not to bet. We had some lovely customers in today and they made the day much nicer. Terri -Jayne had her debut in the shop and did very very well...well done Terri -Jayne. Good luck to everyone taking part in the London Marathon tomorrow!! Hope it doesn't rain. 8th april Konnie Konnie Konnie... She came along didn't she and then got taken out after 50 yards of jogging with the Olympic torch...Since leaving Blue Peter she has tried to forge a career as a David Dimblebee like figure on itv's poorer version of Question time, 'London Talks'. With weekly guests such as high brow characters like Vanessa Feltz and Nick Ferrari the show and her presenting skills seemed to fail to draw the late night viewing public. Konnie then decided to see if she could go down the easy way of self publicity getting into the free news papers by wearing as little as possible and trying to fall out of London hotspots hoping a camera might snap her...With this also failing the chance of carrying the torch with so many dropping out Konnie was onto a winner to get not only in London's press but the nation wide..This seemed a good idea and at first. What easier way to get on TV then jogging around London in a tracksuit holding the torch... This wasn't the case. After a mere 50 yards she was bombarded by protesters some shouting abuse others trying to throw things at her until one protesters broke free past the barriers and through the polices guard to grab her and the torch nearly from her grasp...Konnie smiled and looked towards the prying cameras with a vulnerable look in her eye but this wasn't enough for Konnie. This seemed to be faultless ploy but was full of holes and problems from the outset. Konnie had failed to create a positive publicity in her favour and was reduced to going back to square one...The decision to hold the games in China wasn't the best ideas the IOC ever had and with Paris seeming to trying to emulate the riots of 1968 yesterday the IOC it looks like there will be more protests on the way. Anyway enough of politics for now and onto the weekends weather. What awful weather it was,cold and snowing. Sunday was meant to be a day of BBQ's and days out instead it ended up being a day of hot soup and staying in watching t4 and the film Big... Today is far nicer and Portobello Road is busy with happy people. You should come down and see our shop. When the weather is nice there is no better place to be then Notting Hill and Portobello Road. There are loads of nice places to eat/drink,lots of beautiful people and our wonderful shop. We are busy working on the new collection at the moment and it will be coming out very soon so its a very exciting time here at isavedlaurence . Have a fun day Speak soon x ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4th april Hello Friday today and the weekend is nearly here...The sun is out today and the Olympic torch is heading our way...Yes the Olympics have heard of our wonderful shop and have decided to make it one of the destinations on the route to the Beijing Games...On Sunday the torch will be heading near our shop around 11am with the local area providing sounds and dancing to embrace the Olympic fever. Ex Blue Peter presenter Connie Huq will be carrying the torch for this stretch of London, So if you fancy seeing the action and fancy a dance at the mini carnival that is being put on then pop down to Lancaster road on Sunday and enjoy the fun. If your down in the area why not pop into our shop and say hi and look at our lovely collection and in our fun fun shop. We are 200yards from where the main action is taking place and we have a sofa so if you need a sit down we are here to provide this service...
We have loads of nice things for you to buy .We have tee,sweats, hoodies and loads of cool jewellery including rings,necklaces and brooches.
We are also having a party very soon and its going to be big...huge some would say. There is limited spaces and invites so keep your eyes peeled for further info on the date and venue this will appear on our website www.isavedlaurence.com and on our facebook profile page.
